Qanbar Dywidag Precast Concrete Company Limited (QDC) was formed in 1981 as a partnership between one of the leading businessman in the Eastern Province, Sheikh Abdul Razaq Mohammed Qanbar Al Ansari, and one of the largest German general contractors and precast concrete manufacturers Dycherhoff & Widmann AG(DYWIDAG).

In January 2002 Abdul Razaq Mohammed Qanbar Al Ansari & Sons’ Company became the sole owner of QDC and (DYWIDAG) remains as a Technical Partner.

QDC has built a strong name for quality and competitiveness, completing many prestigious projects for the Royal Commission of Jubail & Yanbu, Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco),SCECO, King Fahd international Airport, Ministries and Private sector.Projects include hospitals, schools, factories, warehouses, showrooms, multi-storey offices, apartment buildings, single and multi-storey car parks, villas, shopping centers, mosques, supermarkets, boundary walls and paving tiles.

The Research and Development division is constantly studying the market and introducing new Systems and Products to meet current demands.
